JR Gash, where is he now?

What ever became of the psycho known as JR Gash?

Proof that radio stations would hire anyone for ratings no matter how bad they are lacking in morals or how really insane they are (and not just playing an insane radio personality).

Actually, it's JR Gach. The last I knew he was in Florida, divorced from his wife Susie. I heard he was doing Independant commercials, no longer in radio. His side kick Pi is still in this area. At least was.

Here's more info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._R._Gach

I personally think JR Gach was part of the reason that Galaxy Albany and both 94 Rock and the Bone failed... although the Bone was making a comeback by the time they sold off both stations to EMF in a firesale, IIRC. I think Galaxy could've made a comeback in the Albany area had they kept going with the Bone (although only owning two stations in the area was a roadblock; they should've kept 1400 and put standards on it, but then again, both 1540 and 100.9 were running a standards format by the time Galaxy came into control of 1400, so probably a bad idea.)

(Sorry for the double post, but the board won't allow editing after a certain time)

Speaking of people who are no longer on the air in Albany, anyone expecting someone like Jason Keller on 105.7? He'd fit the new CHR/Rock format pretty well :D

He passed on in 2015 all alone and secluded.
