JSU football on 95.5?

The Clarion-Ledger's college football guide showed the list of radio stations carrying all the state college football games this fall and Hallelujah, along with sister urban AC WJKX in the Pine Belt, as being the JSU affiliate station. Is this true? I almost can't imagine it being anywhere else other than WOAD or WKXI.

YES IT'S TRUE....AFTER OVER 25 YEARS OF BEING BROADCAST ON 1300 AM AS EITHER WKXI OR WOAD.

THE SCHOOL DECIDED TO MOVE TO THE FM.

A lot of play-by-play college and pro sports are moving to FM these days. In Jackson, you already have Mississippi on 97.3, MSU on 105.9, LSU and Mississippi Braves on 103.9 and now JSU on 95.5. None of the pro sports here are on FM except for ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball.

Is their media guide going to quote the same 450,000 listeners you guys cover as the M-Braves does? ;)

I heard the broadcast yesterday...not bad. One weird thing was hearing Sam Browne from 99 Jams doing the sideline reporting, since 99 Jams and Hallelujah are not sister stations. Kinda like hearing Ben Ingram host a show on 930, broadcasting Braves games on 103.9 and Madison Central football on 105.9.
