Jubal leaving Kiss Mornings

I just saw on Jubal's Facebook that he's leaving Jackie and Bender but he didn't say where too. rumors that he'll be taking middays at kiss replacing Seacrest. I wonder what's happening at CC?
 
All Access is reporting that he is going to the am show on Movin...starting around the first. Plus the former afternoon guy at the funky monkey Justin Barnes is going to Movin as well as the night guy there...
 
Besides, why would CC take Seacrest off one of their stations - especially after just signing him to a huge new contract?

Good luck to Jubal and Justin. It'll be fun to watch a good ol' fashioned CHR war in Seattle.
 
I'm happy for Jubal as everyone deserves a chance to have their own time in the sun, er rain,
but I really see this backfiring on Movin. Jubal was the perfect foil to Jackie and Bender and
I don't see him transitioning to one of the top morning shows in town. And if you don't want to be number one, why hire him?

Movin is very smart in seeing that Clear Channel (funky monkey, KBKS) is living and dying by the
corporate sword. And they are aggressively picking up the pieces. Good for them. However it doesn't
make Jubal a top talent in this town. I can't really see this working long term for them.
One thing a morning show host must have is energy. Bender has more energy than the energizer bunny.
Jubal does not posses this.

Seattle however is full of stoned, depressed people. I take it back, they'll be number one in 2 months....
 
Jubal's a funny guy. The am format at Movin won't give him any opportunity to showcase his talent, since he is second billing to a talentless hack and their breaks are like 2 minutes per hour.

Tuned in this a.m. I had to suffer through four awful songs before I heard a break, which consisted of the girl stumbling over everything that she said, and not being funny, and Jubal not being funny. They are running promos saying "We've got 'em now!" What? You hired a producer from another show that he was not happy at. Wow.

The title of this thread should read "Jubal leaving Kiss Mornings = MISTAKE."
 
i disagree sandy. thought he sounded rough, but i chortled a few times
