Julie Guy's last day on the Coast

The Coast is Toast.....

Julie Guy announced after 11 years today is her last day. Was that a Cox move or her move? What is this station doing??!?!

Even more instability for Coast. I don't think this necessarily means that things will be headed in a different direction. But still, a surprising move...

If she was making decent dough, she was pushed out.

It was probably more her doing, with how much the coast has changed from their original format, why would she want to stay? I am surprised Gnarly Charlie is still there.

It wasn't her doing....she made that clear on air this morning....She called Tamara G on air - Tamara was laughing and Julie replied "what are you laughing at, you were the first to be let go" -- her tone was very clear, this was obviously Cox decision.

Since Coast is moving more toward a CHR direction, the two-female morning show no longer works for them.

they haven't had a 2 girl morning show since Tamara G was let go in December 2011. Donnie Michaels and Julie were on air through most of 2012 and then Donnie left to move back to NY. Julie has held the show on her own since he left which has been about 6 or more months. Guess that's done. Let's compete with MIA and Y100. Coast is Toast.
