Denver July 2024 Denver/Boulder Radio Ratings

KOA is tied for #14. But as we've seen, it's one of the highest billing stations in the nation, somewhere in the top 20.

Call me crazy but I dont get how KHOW isnt doing way better during an election year. I almost feel like a lot of koas rating are coming from the rockies games.

This is a question that probably has a simple answer so forgive me but does 710 knus not subscribe to ratings?
KNUS 710 is owned by Salem Media. Many stations owned by Salem do not subscribe. It depends on whether Salem owns an FM Christian Contemporary station in the same market. Those commercial FM stations need ratings.

So yes, Salem subscribes in Los Angeles, Dallas and Atlanta. But in most other markets including Denver, it does not. For conservative talk, most of the sponsors are national.

Salem has one FM station in Denver, which is doing preaching. That may seem odd, given that it has three AM stations, one which is also doing preaching, but the Christian Contemporary space in Denver is rather crowded (EMF, Grace FM, Way, Pillar of Fire which is essentially local, and "Light" from Colorado Springs).

KNUS is doing (very) conservative talk; KBJD is Spanish-language gospel.
