JULY 4TH, 2011 WEEKEND PROGRAMMING? WHICH ONE DID YOU LIKE BEST?

:'( Here in Boston, Massachusetts, we have no true Urban AC stations :'(. We do have a Urban/CHR station (Clear Channel-Jamn 94.5). But in my opinion, I think the Urban ACs have the best mix programming.
We do have (Pirate Radio Stations in Boston Urban Neighborhood cities which are basicly four cities) If you don't live in those areas you can not hear those stations. There are three major pirate stations which are HOT 87.7 which is mostly Hip Hop and Caribbean, Big City 101.3 which is Caribbean and Hip Hop, and Touch 106.1 which is Urban AC/Informative Talk. Touch 106.1 signal is the weakest one. If anything, I choose to listen to Big City 101.3 because they seem to have better Caribbean music and seem to play more Urban AC and their signal is the best where I work at weekends. One of our radio stations where I work at (Entercom) is "93.7 Mike FM" which is Variety Station that plays mostly Classic Rock 65%, HOT AC 20%, and 5% Oldschool Hip Hop. Their HD2 station is "Funkytown 93.7 HD2" (Funkytownboston.com) which plays HOT AC 75%, 15% Disco, 5% Urban AC. Before 93.7 Mike FM , we used to have "Star 93.7" which is what their current "Funkytown HD 2 station is. Star 93.7 was from 1998-2006.
Aside from pirate stations. Right now, I'm listenning to (Touch 95.3) by computer. That station is from Harrisburg, Pa. They are an affilate of (The Touch-Citadel Media Networks-24/7 Music Formats) They are Urban AC. Their website lists that they are playing mixes all weekend. It's sounding pretty great right now. I would choose this station if you all want to listen to something good. I'd say this is the best one.
Another great one you might want to check out is WBLS 107.5 from New York City. I'm assuming they will be having simular programming. Their site states they have a Interactive Throwback Weekend.
In Boston, we have Jamn 94.5 which plays Hip Hop/CHR (Urban/CHR) DJ Pup Dawg is the BEST mixer. This cat is Spanish and plays Hip Hop/Indian/Arabic Hip Hop. he's been "Comcast Music Choice" "MixTape" Their site states he will be on Monday afternnon 5pm hour. But listen to them anytime you want. Jamn945.com
How about you all, your thoughts?

I beg your parden, 101.3 is a better signal where I work weekdays

I've been listenning to also WBLS 107.5 from New York City. Chubb Rock is on, yes, the oldschool rapper. He has an Oldschool Mix Show "Master Mix" Saturday nights. I think he's also on there Friday nights. They're sounding great. I think he's on until 9pm Saturday nights. His show is Great!!!

thank you for this link. I'm listenning online right now

LAUROJRM, hope you had a chance to hear some of the guest mixers like "Southern Smoke" mixtape star DJ Smallz and the world famous DJ Khaled. They actually have mixing skills. I'm very impressed.

WRBO Memphis (Soul Classics 103.5) had a "Funk On the Fourth" weekend, playing lots of old R&B funk. Fun to listen to.
;D This is more of what I listen to (36 year old male) I love Soul Classics such as D Train, and Freddie Jackson to name a few. I can go on ("Must Be The Music"-Secret Weapon, "Give Me" I Level, and "Pull Up To The Bumper" by Grace Jones) to name a few. I might look up this station as well this weekend.
I like both kind of music, todays and yesterdays.
