JULY 4TH SHOW

It was interesting to see DVE and Froggy essentially co-present the day of country acts yesterday on the concourse at Heinz Field... around 6:15 Phil Kirczyk and David Hopperfield were on stage together...

I've always sorta had this feeling that Keymarket exists in certain markets because Clear Channel allows them to....

Well, Froggy chips away at WDSY, of course, so of course CC is happy to see them! :D

I haven't tracked the ratings to see how small that chipping is after they decamped from the in-market signal, tho.

Actually the loss of 98.3 doesn't seem to have hurt them much. And you're right, if the Frogs weren't here Y108 might be challenging DVE for #1 in the market, amazingly enough.

There's still a pretty decent hole in the FroggyPond that isn't covered all that well between 103.5/104.3/94.9 and the downtown translator, no?

Or am I overestimating the area lost by the exit of 98.3?

Once they completed the move-in of 104.3 they have pretty decent coverage. Not quite as good as 98.3, but not the big hole they had with just 103.5 and 94.9.

At this point I'm not sure why they hold onto 103.5, unless they are selling it in Wheeling and Steubenville.
