Since I could not find a July 6 TDITVH thread from last year (and the fact that the search engine isn't working hasn't helped much), I'm not sure if Stanislav created one last year. Thus, I'll start a fresh July 6 thread (a do-it-yourself edition--feel free to add your own info/comments) with a few TV celebrity birthdays from that date:
1918: Sebastian Cabot (Giles French on "Family Affair"--died 1977) born as Charles Sebastian Thomas Cabot in London, England.
1921: Former First Lady Nancy Reagan born as Anne Frances Robbins in New York, NY. Her pre-political acting career included appearances on the series "Wagon Train" and "The Tall Man" until retiring as an actress in 1962. Of course, we all remember her appearance in a 1983 episode of "Diff'rent Strokes" to promote "Just Say No" to drugs while First Lady. A "minisode" with highlights of the First Lady's appearance on "Diff'rent Strokes" is found on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlTx2cGHSh8
1925: Merv Griffin (d. 2007) born Mervyn Edward Griffin, Jr. in San Mateo, CA. Of course, his career includes his 1969-86 talk show (originally airing late nights on CBS and later in syndication in daytime) and the creation of "Jeopardy" and "Wheel of Fortune."
1927: Pat Paulsen (d. 1997) of "Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour" fame born in South Bend, WA. He also hosted his short-lived series "Pat Paulsen's Half a Comedy Hour" for 13 weeks on ABC in 1970.
1931: Della Reese was born Delloreese Patricia Early in Detroit, MI. Her acting and singing career has included playing Tess in "Touched by an Angel."
1978: Tia and Tamera Mowery ("Sister, Sister") born in Gelnhausen, West Germany.
