Baseball had a huge month on 104.7.... Y108 is up, WSHH is strong, and the Fan also benefited from Pirate talk.

No growth for WAMO in month 2... 6+ number is the same and cume was down. As the curiosity factor wears off it will now become a question of how limited they are by their signal. I know it's still relatively early, but they continue to have virtually no sponsors on the air.

Maybe they will have to flip to sports talk.
 
I think I have heard more commercials on WKVE and it remains largely an automated jukebox, albeit for a different music style than WAMO-AM and WAMO-whatever its callsign is at-100.1. Question here: How deep are Tim Martz's pockets?
 
Congratulations to KQV on finding a way to go down from a 0.5 share. Bob Dickey should run this operation out of his basement and save on the downtown rent.

Take a look at their Facebook page sometime. The majority or comments are people complaining they can't get it at all where they live, and the remainder complain about the reception and static issues. I had to laugh, there is one guy who explains "the pertinent details" (power x terrain height, etc) to those who ask. LOL
 
They are, however, tied for 8th in persons 18-34, and 4th in Women 18-34.

Again, it's early, but with that alone you should be able to get more than a couple of bars, a hip-hop boutique in East Liberty, a charter school and the Gateway Clipper Fleet (probably trade) on the air as clients.
 
I've explained in a previous post that our stations don't subscribe to the ratings, and as a result I won't
be quoting any specific numbers. That said - I would like to congratulate Frankie Day on what I believe
is the highest share in the history of 770, and a new personal high for him. Of course the FM translator
at 97.5 has helped. To beat 970 and 1410, both Pittsburgh stations, and to tie our Class B1 FM station
in the same building, is pretty high cotton.

970, despite protestations to the contrary, is a non-starter and has been such even since 1250 gave up
the ghost. I would suggest a few options that would make them more successful, but Clear Channel will
never hear those suggestions.

I Can't understand how WLSW Did not Show up in the ratings. Terry Lee is on 4 Nights a week,I know he is also on the Internet. He has Many local Listeners , They can't all be tuned to the Computer.

My guess is that WLSW, like WAOB and a number of other stations, has never bothered to equip itself with a
PPM encoder box.

No, I think WLSW would be showing up in the ratings with or without Terry Lee. I just don't think the
station has ever bothered to encode.

Yes and yes. I don't think Stan really cares about encoding at this point in his life. WLSW isn't really a ratings-driven station.
 
I would concur with Clarke's statements regarding WLSW. I do afternoons for Dial-Global Radio Network' Oldies Plus format of which, WLSW is an affiliate. Every day since January First, I've done one hour (6PM) of custom voicetracking for them and I firmly believe that none of it has ever actually aired. (lol) We've tried, unsuccessfully, to reach them on many occasions.

I thought WLSW always was local from 4-7 on weeknights (although I would also like to know where Jeff Gerard has gone).
 
When in the area a few weeks ago, I heard the old Music Power 104 jingles and a locally automated format. No Dial Global jocks. Just prerecorded Stan Wall drop-ins.
