KKLZ is on fire - wow.
Did you leave them out of the 12+ numbers? How can they be tied for ninth but not on your list? Not knowing that much about ratings...

Looks like the jewel of the Beasley cluster here...

He didn't leave KKLZ off the list, they were listed as #9 12+. I wouldn't say they are on fire. They are doing OK. But compared to the rest of the Beasley cluster, yes they are the crown jewel.

I'm not surprised about the STAR nose dive. They dropped off a big April. With the major exceptions of March and April, they have had nothing but garbage months since modifying their format.

KSNE losing share to KKLZ? Maybe a little on the upper end. But in 25-54 SUNNY was #4 for July while KKLZ didn't quite make the top 10.

Will playing (burned out IMO) 80s songs like "Footloose" "Jack and Diane" and "Higher Love" help improve KKLZs 25-54? Or do songs like that water down the station too much?

SUNNY had a surprisingly good month 18-34, this must be frustrating to STAR who is trying to position themselves as a younger alternative to SUNNY (and a more adult version of MIX).

Just as I had predicted KOMP, POINT, and JACK all have gotten boosts from the KKLZ format change. KOMP is now #1 English language 25-54.

In June KDWN slightly beat KXNT 25-54 for the first time ever. In July KXNT came roaring back with an excellent month that KDWN can only dream of at this point. Although KDWN is making slow steady 12+ progress. They even passed up sister station STAR this trend. They may break a 2 share next month, while that might not seem like too big of a deal, they haven't had a share that high since around 1995.
