Jump Smokers-My flow so tight.... CHRIS BROWN RANT RECORD

Mid West Clubber

Getting spins on 92.3 Now FM in NYC and B-96 Chicago.. It has that Electro Hip Hop House sound to it..... Will it chart at dance,,,, I know its novelty, and should have been released sooner, but I think it will peak at some stations, and drop out immediately. You can download it for free at their website, but for stations that wont say ass on the air, it makes the song sound horrible edited.

They brought it up on the morning show on KZON last week. I doubt it will last too long, due to the type of record it is and the entire theme of it. It doesn't have that "long lasting / stick" feel to it. Thye probably should've used different and better lyrics to make it more club friendly and picked a better topic to discuss. I'm not completely sure what the entire song is about, but I could tell from what I've heard so far that it's one of those come and go quick type songs.

Getting spins at WNYZ too. It's like a viral song. Might even peak up to #1 on CHR before fading into obscurity. Remember Fannypack - Camel Toe? That song isn't even in gold rotation now, but it was #1 for a week in the summer of 2003.

Just heard the song on KZON 101.5 JamZ a few minutes ago! It played after "If you seek Amy" and before "let it rock", in an unmixed set which all came after FloRida's "sugar" that came after Kid Cudi's "day n nite", which came after Pitbull's "I know you want me", which was proceeded by and Black Eyed Peas "Boom Boom Pow. As much as I'm tempted to say something, I don't have to say much more because many of you can already imagine what I'm thinking...

By the way, Poker Face is on now.

After hearing it a few times, I really wish now that they had discussed another topic other than Chris Brown and put more lyrical work into the song to make it a more long lasting hit. The Chris Brown or anybody bashing thing in music will never lead to a classic or even last too long in general. If only that instrumental was used for another song and artist who released a hit with a watered down dance beat. At least Jump Smokers used an instrumental that really sounded like "real dance".

I pretty much agree with you guys... The Chris Brown topic will earn them a quick buck from the Brown haters, but the Brown Fans will hate it,, and it will get old fast.... I do hope that Jump Smokers, or Jump Smokers whichever, release a follow up soon,, they had good production for a great Eloectro house track, perhaps they should have put that beat over some Electro Hip Hop vocals for a crossover hit.....yeah....
