June 18 E Skip to Austin, TX with Audio clips

E Skip was in strong here to Austin, Texas. Started about 5pm and lasted till 9pm. Heard my first Ontario, Canada station at 1193 miles away plus 5 new states also. Fun stuff ;D

I had E-Skip all the way from Harlingen to Canyon Lake yesterday afternoon. One of the most interesting drives I've ever had. I started out with WESC and WTPT from Greenville/Spartanburg and soon had stations from Miami, Tampa, Fort Myers, and Naples. Once I turned onto I-37, all of the sudden signals came in from Bowling Green, KY (WDNS at 93.3), Nashville, Indianapolis, and Carbondale, Illinois.

The Skip was so strong that the Naples station overpowered KONO until I was less than 60 miles to San Antonio.
