Was the game locally televised in Philadelphia? If so, what channel was it on and why doesn't Comcast SportsNet have a copy of the Phillies radio and TV broadcasts of this game. They are currently re-airing this game as I post this as part of the Philly Sports Classics series. They are using the Pirates TV broadcast of the game.

Was this the game where the Pirates scored like 10 runs in the first inning and their announcer said something like, "if we blow this lead, I'll walk back to Pittsburgh" (they did)? That's probably why.

Yes they have a copy of every game they aired. However this particular game may have been obtained in a package from MLB, and in that case they can only air the game as provided by the rights holder. For example, CSN New England still had to obtain rights to air NBA classic games during the lockout even though they and predicessor channels (SportsChannel, FSN) originally aired many of those games.

I am pretty sure this is the game where their then-color man Jim Rooker said he would walk back to Pittsburgh
if the Pirates blew their ten run lead. True to his word he did so, and took per-mile pledges to raise money for
charity.

I vaguely recall though that Rooker was broadcasting on the radio side for that game.
