June Pointer Dead at 52

Flipped on CNN when the Yankees game went into a commercial. It said on the screen "June Pointer from the Pointer Sisters Dead at 52". Here's the story from LA's KCBS/2.

Sad news... "I'm So Excited" was the first song I danced with my wife the night I met her so mention of that song brings back good memories

June Pointer

Agreed- way, way, way, WAY too young to go.

"Fire" & "He's So Shy" are two really wonderful pop/rock songs (the Sisters' voices and Richard Perry's magic in the studio). Great stuff.
