JURY DUTY

What is up with the TV Show JURY DUTY, the court show with the celebrity jurors? Why is it on the local ION Station here in Hartford at 11AM in the middle of a block of infomercials? I checked other ION stations listings online and none of the other ION stations are carrying the show. In NYC it's on a mainstream station - CW 11 WPIX at 430AM.

Also when I went to visit the show's website http://titantv.com/juryduty it says "The content you have requested is only available to be viewed inside the U.S.A."

Let's see. I've lived in Connecticut all my life. (25 years, 4 months and 4 days) And I've never been out of the country. So looks like I am in the U.S.A.

My internet provider is AT&T Yahoo DSL and I used both Firefox and Netscape to attempt to view the website.

I've actually seen ads for this show on the subway over the last few weeks ("you are hereby summoned to watch"). The fact that I find out this show has been relegated to 4:30 AM really says volumes about the show. Bet those celebrity jurors are of the Z-list variety...

I got the site to work, by the way.

Phyllis Diller did one episode.
Tracey Gold did another, now that speaks volumes...

Considering it's on ION, bookended by infomercials (considering that ION usually doesn't allow its O&Os to buy syndicated programming); and it's on WPIX at an extremely early hiur in the morning, I'm led to believe that the producers paid for the time, and got the cheapest slots possible.

As for not accessing a US-restricted site within the US on a US ISP -- can America declare independence from itself?

Well no surprises here. With the exception of ice skater Hamilton, none of the above the actors (or singer in Tiffany's case) have had any major role since the 80s. The rest of the list is full of no names and former soap stars like Melissa Rivers and Matthew Ashford.

Notables from the list: Todd Bridges, Verne Troyer (aka Mini-Me) and Debra Wilson for the fact that she's listed twice.

Also, good to see one of the three daughters from Gimme A Break alive and getting some work!

There aren't enough letters in the alphabet to describe this list.

Let's start a pool as to when this is going to be cancelled.

Well, that's a factor: How long will the money last? I doubt long.
