There has been a lot of juvenile activity here as of late and just want to remind everyone of the rules:
The purpose of our message boards is to provide forums for discussion about radio and television in Iowa. In order to ensure that the boards remain as open and as free-flowing as possible, we have instituted the following rules. Please note these rules do not supercede the Terms of Service and are providely solely as a convenience to you.
The following types of messages are not permitted (posts which violate these rules will be removed without notice to you):
Messages containing personal attacks, slanderous material, and similar nonsense.
"Spam" or other blatant advertising.
Any copyrighted data. This includes articles from most newspapers, trade publications, and Arbitron ratings (including 12+ ratings). Copying and pasting ratings from a site which has an Arbitron license is forbidden. In addition, Arbitron does not allow linking to sites, even licensed sites (for example, R&R Online) which contain ratings information. From what we understand, it is acceptable to post rankings (i.e., KWNR is #1 12+ in Las Vegas).
Off-topic posts. All posts should directly relate to the broadcasting industry.
Complaints regarding the moderation or administration of Radio-Info. Generic questions should be directed to the 'Ask Radio-Info' forum, however direct concerns relating to moderation/administration should be handled via email with the person responsible for that section of the site. The link is on the main page of the board and the mailbox has been cleaned out.
Posts across multiple boards or multiple posts on the same board.
Any other postings which are deemed unacceptable by the Radio.Info.com Administration and/or board moderators (at our discretion).
Continued violations of these rules can lead to the suspension of being able to post on Radio-Info.com message boards, once again without notice. This is not open to debate or negotiation.
If you want to post a "general" message -- one that is on-topic but not specific to any market -- please post only on the Coast to Coast board.
Using multiple screen names under the same User ID will get your post deleted, no questions asked. Posts that attempt to hijack a thread will be deleted.
