Just call it radio 104 again...

I am very glad that 104.1 is back.. I wish they would just bring it back as radio 104.1 it would sound better like k-rock in NYC the station we grew up to.

radio104.com still exists playing music

Radio 104 played a lot more currents.

hahaha you beat me.. you can as well listen online through that link as well.
I found it through
power1041.com

I'm thinking that they will play more current music as they get further into it. Maybe I'm wrong, though, and it will be basically a 1990's music station.

the liner guy they used to use on radio 104.1 is still around in several markets including I believe here in VT on 101.7 ( correct me if I am wrong)
I wish they use the old liner guy

Who cares? We have it back again! :p

agreed I guess. I still think it would sound better tho...

They should use the Star name again. This as the format is just like Star 98.7 out in LA. It wouldn't be bad to call it Star 104.1 its better then 104one.

::)

I just think the 3,000 or so fans they did have should have been informed. I mean many ppl that didn't even like 104.1 listened to the steve Harvy show.

Everybody's acting all crazy and stuff but in the midst of this dj's have lost what they thought were permanent jobs!!! and other ppl...where are they? do they have jobs now? why didn't they know upfront? Did they know upfront?

I doubt it. many of the Dj's have now privatized their myspaces and have said nothing about the abrupt change.

All I'm saying is make the change and do it fairly.

It's really all about Karma. If you do dirt you'll get dirt. 50 cent didn't just walk up to Radio 104 and demanded they stop playing hits... RADIO 104 MADE THAT CHOICE!

not hip hop heads.

Now all I'm saying is that they should be responsible for it. At least allow goodbyes and stuff... stores do it all the time :'(

Anyone who truly loved hip hop will tell you that power 104.1 wasn't truly hip hop anyways, they only played what was on MTV, and even then it was only the same 6 or 7 songs all day long!

So guess what.

I'll just say this. Habits are hard to break. Don't be suprised when you realize you got the whitewashed version of the music you love too, and then just when you settle with the fact that they will sell their soul for money and force you to listen to it, they'll give you the shaft to for whatever is popular for the moment.

and that's all I have to say.
