that the weekly ratings that showed Moby beating Bandy and Bailie in the Atlanta market from 6-10 a.m. from an Athens station led to them not being resigned.

For those of you who question what I put on this board, just know that I worked in radio for 39 years and have more inside sources than everyone else on this board combined. You can take that to the bank.

Considering that you have no idea who is on this board, I won't be taking anything to said bank.

I must admit. The occasional moby worship post is humorous. I find myself looking forward to them. This has to be the only person in Atlanta that liked his show.

I can picture a small alter in a spare bedroom closet. Within, an autographed photo of moby surrounded by candles, a yeah baby poster, a peaches tee-shirt, a picture of a lion, a kicks 101 bumper sticker with a knife through it, and a z-93 sticker x'd out. Several program directors with their name struck out with double black marks. Finally, every night you must pledge your allegiance to moby by saying 1000 yeah babys and you must end every sentence with peaches. Just like the old show.

Come on guys, don't you subscribe to the new Jumbo Arbitron? It updates the ratings everytime someone turns on a radio or changes the channel in any given market. Wait a minute...this just in...Moby lost 5 listeners 3 seconds ago without even being on the air.

I don't listen to Kicks anymore since they canned Moby. 1980's is not the only one who liked Moby and his show. I flip through them and I just don't like their imaging. The imaging sounds more appropriate for 95.5 da Beat and not a Country station.

However were Kicks and Eagle owned by the same company when Moby was fired? If so why have two legends of Atlanta country morning radio compete with each other within the same broadcasting cluster? Moby and Rubarb are absolutely fantastic and it is a shame that one of them got the boot. I am very happy that Moby has found success on his own. Things happen for a reason. <P ID="signature">______________

Well actually..

Based on the ratings he had, I'd say there was more than 1 person who liked his show. I do not know for sure, but wasn't his show still gathering pretty good ratings when he was let go--at least much better than Rhubarb?

Remember, he wasn't fired for lack of listeners, he was fired for being "too country".

Dude...this is TOO funny!

The only thing confirmed here is that you belong in an insane asylum.

Voices in your head do not count as "inside sources".
