Not just this board (pretty bad here though)-

Question: when board-ops, producers etc, spam these boards with immature posts about why they should be given full-time talk shows, do they really think managers are that naive?

With no full-time track record, major stations should risk everything, because he/she knows how to childishly create multiple board names? It just gets annoying, and fools nobody.

Proof a person has no idea what it really takes to make it in talk radio. A couple of really bad offenders on this one.

Oh you must mean Matt Allen. But in my opinion he really is good. I would give him a full time on air gig.

Hmmm ... I guess the real question is whether she would be stupid enough to jeopardize opportunities in her career or anger her boss by posting a bunch of crap to impress a couple of people on a freaking message board that they don't even read. (And tell her not to read because you guys are so BRUTAL.)

Oh and for the record her name is: K E R I ...

Don't hate the player boys ... hate the GAME! :)

Kind of odd comments coming from someone who is regularly complimented on this board.Frankly I have never understood radio's mentality when it comes to discussion of the personalities or people involved in the medium. The sensitivity is not there when it comes to TV or print. You never see anyone sending a letter to the editor criticizing a column followed by the columnist responding "you freakin idiots".Then again maybe not you but most radio people are cut from a different cloth and have always wanted to exist in a coccoon. There's the old adage about the heat and the kitchen and any station running any local talk show filled with its usual opinionated hosts and blowhard callers they tolerate should not really be looking down at any public forum even if it's a message board.Again, this probably doesn't even pertain to you but I still found your comments strange and I think you know the brutality your bosses speak of is nothing to what goes on around you every day.
