Just for fun, Something different

Most of us know what demos certain stations target, But do these people actually listen to these stations? or to other ones targeted at other demos? I did an "informal" survey of family and friends for two favorite stations and these are my findings.

1. male,35- 1st choice, mountain;2nd choice KAB
2. male,30-979x,BHT
3. male,29-BHT,KRZ
4. male,56-107,Mountain
5. male,51-mountain and then nothing else on FM. He has Sirius
6. Female,26-979x,BHT
7. Female,51- Magic 93, KRZ
All of the minors surveyed were unanimous on BHT as first choice, Followed by KRZ.
I told everyone abou QFM. all said they would give a listen. No one heard of the river. Some said they would try it. no one in these demos gave a hoot about WNAK. as far as the rest of the FMs not mentioned, they said they all listen on occasion when flipping around.

Small sample; you never know what another group might come up with. My audience is not able to keep a diary (visually impaired, physically impaired), but when some company did a telephone coincidental years ago, we blew the other stations off the map in our demographic. #1 in NEPA, 10:00 till Noon, 55+. When you figure how limited our (WRKC) coverage is, that ain't bad.<P ID="signature">______________
