Just for thought

I was just thinking about this. I know former Atlanta Jock J. J. Jackson has moved toLouisville to a station there, but do you think if he had waited a little longer and stayed in Atlanta, that Cox would have contacted him to work at "97.1 the River". I think he would have been great to work at this station. I wonder if Cox had thought about talking to him when they first thought of changing formats. Bringing J. J. Jackson to this new station would have been like a reunion for him because hew would be going back to working at 97.1 on the radio dial like hea had for so many years before Fox 97 got rid of him (actually I think Cox owned the station at the time her was let go from the station). Let me kno what ya'll think about this. If you think J. J. Jackson would have stayed had Cox contacted him to come back and work at 97.1. In my opinion I think he would have stayed because Atlanta is where he has worked for so many years and he probably would have stayed to work at this station.

I nominate Kaedy Kiely for a spot on the new River. She is another long time Atlanta DJ and while she has no history on this station she certainly has history with this music. Who else would people like to see get a chance to join the River? Kaedy was replaced when they changed the format to Dacve FM but her replacement is incredibly boring. Eric does not have much of a perconality. Maybe because they limit him on what he does.

Kaedy is a nice person, and talented, but old and washed up. They need new talent, not more reruns, IMO.

I'd like to hear some fresh voices, not the same ol, same ol.

This is a Cox station, right?

If so, there won't be new voices or old.

I'm willing to bet on NO voices, at least not outside of mornings... and maybe PM drive.<P ID="signature">______________
