The Price Is Right now broadcasts in HD. So does Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy. I also read that Deal or No Deal will be in HD this fall. So it's already happening!

Well WVIT-DT does make such a huge deal about their newscasts being in HD. I think they now air Ellen in HD, so it's entirely possible.

It wasn't the one where Seth Rogen was a guest, was it? (inside "Family Guy" joke)

Can you tell me if you were the guy who worked in LA having something to do with the entertainment field....maybe filling the audience? I remember someone saying something like that to Tony. I went to the same shows you did and your description of the show is right on.

Wasn't the choice of location being Waterford because it was cheaper than Uncasville or Ledyard, let alone Hollywood?
So, Skynet, you weren't able to shake Howie's hand in between tapings?

Shake Howie's hand? The guy barely said two words off camera! In between commercials he would get on a phone off stage. No idea who he was talking to. Then as soon as the show ended he vanished so quick I'm not even sure where the hell he went. There was ZERO interaction betwen Howie and the audience. I don't know if he's always like this at tapings, but this is how things went down yesterday.

Don't fault the guy about shaking hands. He has a huge fear of germs. You might be able to go to the liveregisandkelly.com website and pull up an old host chat with him discussing this fear.

Yeah but if it prohibits you from having human contact...I've heard this too but it's like an OCD-level fear.
