The afternoon news anchor, female, just did a story about a new brand of "supercoffee" that includes a blend of "ah-bahr-ee-cah" beans and "something called herbie mate" (rhymed with bait).

Arabica. Yerba mate.

Sigh. Back to NPR.
 
Good God almighty. They do get dumber by the day, don't they?

Note to radio management: You get what you pay for. And you pay for it in credibility.
