When a team is not winning, they get rid of the coach. When a station is not bringing in the numbers, why not ditch the PD instead of always flipping the format?

Are you talking about The Fan? Oops! I mean "The Fail"?

With some stations, neither approach works.

Signal is often a factor, but some stations seem to have every advantage and still flounder.

Buc, which station are you suggesting? Who needs the new "coach"? (in your opinion)

Teams fire the coach because you can't fire the players. In radio you can fire the players; i.e. the music/air talent.

Buc..That happens in radio as well. Look what happened to Skip Cheatem.

My question Salem is when is Radio One gonna wake up and smell the PPM?

It depends on their goals. If they are hitting the marks in their key demos, and making their budgets, then they are happy. Remember Radio One is about making marks, not being number 1.
