Just one question

Is there anything going on in radio besides awful commercials and John DePetro's show?

Hmm, lets see:

-DLR has been back this week.
-Christmas party at Oldies has ended, REALLY poor monthly in latest trend.
-Isn't Lady D doing something on Lander's show at Mix?
-Does ZLX have new PD yet?
-How are the Hurley bits sounding on Mike?
-What's the latest on the CBS/Stern battle?
-See that article on Margery Egan in the Herald about being the only woman on Boston talk radio?
-Which radio station in town is trying to take ownership of American Idol gossip?
-Who's format should be further tweaked as we approach the Spring book?
-Anyone jumping for HD radio?
-Is it true that WILD AM is going gospel?
-Any further action involving KISS/Jamn' and payola?
-Who or what morning show is benefiting the most from no more Stern?

Well those should give us enough to get started.

Yes, I think 'BUR has kicked off another pledge drive.

Don't forget...

..."We" are still waiting to discover who got S*&canned @ Dee ex TAWK station!

Also...

D & C talked about 24, and made fun of people who watch the Oscars...(yet they knew all about them...hmmmm....)

Re: Also...

I'm sure it'll be a lot of Sopranos talk next week... (note: I love the show) and they'll probably complain if there isn't enough violence. Can you imagine what Callahan would have said if "Brokeback" won best picture? So glad I haven't listened to them in the better part of a year.

They just started running "black talk" on Jan. 30; still run gospel on
weekends. I'd think they'd keep with the talk format for awhile to see
how it'll do.

Yeah, then he, and Entercom would have to deal with alot of crap I'm sure they'd rather not deal with.

Yeah, WNSH moved off Endicott Campus and probably to Jay Severin's barn

someone told me they were going to go talk. I thought ODS was one of the biggest stations in town. I do agree they seem to play the same 500 songs over and over and something could be done about that.

I would add select Oldies compatable AC cuts form 80s to present.
