Are any AC stations playing this song? As I just heard the Soft Rock station on Music Choice playing it. To me I feel this song fits the AC format. So what AC stations across the country are playing this song?
The question is whether or not middle-age women will like it, and I think they will. The vocals and melody are unexceptional, but it's a refreshingly laid-back tune (at least compared to the Black Eyed Peas and other recent "edgy" AC hits), and I personally enjoy the '80s-style analog synth drums on the track.carolinaradio said:I don't like it. It's not aggressive or offensive, but the sound doesn't fit on AC in my opinion. It doesn't seem very adult.

Glad to see that I am not the only one here who is sick to death of "Hey Soul Sister." Just when it seemed like they were finally backing off on it a bit (after playing it to death this summer!), it seems that it is now back as a recurrent!carolinaradio said:I don't like it. I swear, "Need You Now" and "Hey Soul Sister" were the most overplayed AC songs this year. And they weren't even that great. I liked HSS at first but it was played so to the point where I could go without ever hearing it again.
This was on The Grammys and they had a bunch of white girls dancing.satech said:NYC's 106.7 WLTW is playing it. Compared to the listening torture that was (and still is) "Hey Soul Sister", I like it a lot.
