Just The Way You Are - Bruno Mars

Are any AC stations playing this song? As I just heard the Soft Rock station on Music Choice playing it. To me I feel this song fits the AC format. So what AC stations across the country are playing this song?

WMGC 105.1 in Detroit is playing it. In my opinion, I'm not sure whether it belongs on an AC station. I think it's too CHR for a mainstream AC station.

NYC's 106.7 WLTW is playing it. Compared to the listening torture that was (and still is) "Hey Soul Sister", I like it a lot.

I don't like it. It's not aggressive or offensive, but the sound doesn't fit on AC in my opinion. It doesn't seem very adult.

I swear, "Need You Now" and "Hey Soul Sister" were the most overplayed AC songs this year. And they weren't even that great. I liked HSS at first but it was played so to the point where I could go without ever hearing it again.

The question is whether or not middle-age women will like it, and I think they will. The vocals and melody are unexceptional, but it's a refreshingly laid-back tune (at least compared to the Black Eyed Peas and other recent "edgy" AC hits), and I personally enjoy the '80s-style analog synth drums on the track.

Are you kidding? Who's an adult?

What age of adults do you think are/would be offended by it?

Glad to see that I am not the only one here who is sick to death of "Hey Soul Sister." Just when it seemed like they were finally backing off on it a bit (after playing it to death this summer!), it seems that it is now back as a recurrent! Maybe the coming Christmas flips will finally force it off the air for good!

This was on The Grammys and they had a bunch of white girls dancing.

This is strange because when I was in junior high school, "soul sister" is something the African-American girls called themselves.
