Last Saturday night, I was not particularly interested in Jordan Rich's topic in the first hour. I thought I would fall asleep to some alien radio on RKO. .Rather than the guy who broadcasts from the moon, RKO was running America Heartland with Dr. Grace. As soon as I heard the strange speech pattern and the tired wing nut anti Obama talking points, I realized that Dr. Grace is none other than Crazy Kuhner's wife Grace Vuoto Phd.. Apparently in addition to writing for an obscure online publication and running a make believe think tank "Dr. Grace" has a YouTube channel and packages the audio as a radio show. There were no calls and she has adopted the annoying habit of saying "Roll it Britney" before each and every audio cut. Fortunately, I fell asleep quickly but was horrified to wake up a few hours later to a replay of the same 60 minuteshow. I assume she is buying the time or maybe Entercom threw Kuhner a bone by running his wife's vanity program in loo of a salary commensurate with a major market morning talent.

What they should do is go on FM, go on 97.7. (Keep 680 as it is) but also go on 97.7 and Instead of having President Bashing all day and night. Have diverse talk.

midnight-4am America Tonight
4am-10am Good Day
10am-1pm Trending Today
1pm-4pm WRKO Today put on Avi Nelson, have this show talk about News, Sports and Entertainment
4pm-7pm Redding News Review
7pm-10pm Leslie Marshall
10pm-Midnight Jim Bohannon

For cryin' out loud. What is it with people that are clamoring for MORE syndicated crap shows?

You are the worst Lauro. Syndicated shows can be picked up on the web, phone, iPods, etc. Most are basically "fillers"...especially the ones that you keep touting. (Doug Stephen's "Good Day" program is a cheap program for small 250 watt stations in Oshkosh to put on because they can't afford anything else. There is nothing compelling about "Good Day"....except the fact that he's been able to stay on the air with no stations of any substance.)

What we need are formats that bring more choices and local programming to the people of Boston....not a Dial Global satellite channel with no one home.

Exactly, you want those shows get sat radio or podcasts/streaming/TuneIn etc. There's potential for good local/regional shows. Today as I went up the dial just before noon and heard Michael Graham on 970 out of Portland..he was actually filling in for Ingraham.
OK a national show but Graham does have a local/regional show. When WTKK went off he wound up on a bunch of smaller stations (or just some outside Boston like WCRN)
...a network yes but a regional one
that can cover Boston/MA issues.

The show is also on Boston Herald streaming radio along with other local hosts. They did live election coverage on Boston mayoral primary night.
Entercom also won't put RKO on 97.7 because they need that signal to get WAAF into Boston, so they can make money as I have told you about 337 times before.

If I hit the power ball I would put a blog that would document all the lies that come out of Kuhners mouth each day. I think he is vile bully savage wannabe, with a delusional opinion of himself. Accept for the wing nuts who follow him and some of the inside the beltway crowd no one has ever heard of him. And he was criticizing Obama for not coming on his show I I remember the day when attaching a derogatory name in front of every politician who disagree with wasn't considered thoughtful political analysis..wonder if Dr. Grace can't pronounce the letter H correctly either.

You don't need to hit the lottery to do a blog, since they are essentially free. But, since the odds of hitting Powerball are pretty slim, you'll never have to document those vile lies. Sounds like a perfect lose/win situation for four-flushers..

This kind of 'I'll show ya....just wait until....' bravado reminds of the story of the 5'8" guy who walks up to a 6'5", 250 lb guy in a bar and declares, "If I was as big as you, I'd be the heavyweight champion of the world!" The big guy looks down from his beer and asks, "How come you're not the middleweight champ?"

Anyways, have you all even listened to any of those shows that I mentioned? Probibly not. And not everyone has access or is allowed to listen to their computer audio at work. Not all people have access to internet and computers.
Trust me, if you all listened to those shows, you would think twice before saying those bad things about me and how I'd be the worse Program Director.

Last I checked Mr Howard L. Carr is under contract to them until about a year from now at least

If you read my post clearly, I said keep 680 the way it is
and put those shows that I mentioned on 97.7. Different shows on each stations. Derrrrr. Read it again. Don't be so damm gay
