just wondering ? MyTv network and WWE new deal

Hey I am a WWE big time wrestling fan. and I know today WWE and Mytv network made a deal to make mytv network the new home of WWe Smack down.

Not sure about the details fo the contract and how many years the deal is for .

But do you think Sacramento, Mytv channel / KCRA news will have an annouancement on it .

WWE Smack down is currently on CW 31 Sacramento but come this Fall 2008 is when the switch will happen.

if any oen has news on it or is aware of it I love more information and thank you.

also when will Mytv network air WWE SamckDown what day and tiime ??? I am trying to get ready so I won't miss Samckdown when it switches networks.

Also I wonder if MY tv network/ KCRA management will bring WWE superstars for a Sacramento appearance when the switch happens they can have an autograph signing and meet and greet for all the Sacramento WWE fan , I hope so that would be a good promotion too.

I agree that this topic should be moved to the California TV board.

But in case it does not, here is what I think will happen. Nothing. My Network will start to air commercials for it around late July, and on the final week of Smackdown on CW, the announcers will say about 20 times throughout the program that the following week they will be on a new network, on a new day of the week. Just like it happened when WWE moved from USA to TNN (now Spike TV) and then back to USA again.

Rumors are going that myTV will air it on Thrusdays. Seeing that it is taped on Tuesdays, they could even do it on Wednesday, but I think Thursday is what they will do to compete with TNA Wrestling. Kinda create a "Thursday Night War" like they had Monday nights with WCW years ago.

As for bringing "superstars" to Sacramento... maybe, but probably not. Reason being is that WWE is investing millions into MyTV to get them Hi-Def. It is part of the deal. So since WWE is fronting the bill for the move and the upgrade, they will not be spending more money on local markets by sending their "superstars" to promote it. If they do, do not expect to see the top tier guys. It will be more like Jimmy Wang Yang or Shannon Moore other than Ric Flair or Undertaker. Expect those people to be in SF, LA or NY if anywhere. Though you may see my old next door neighbor John Hennigan since he is from Sacramento, and was once part of the local federation SPW. He is currently known as John Morrison in WWE.

okay, sorry guys for posting in the wrong section, I didn't know how to get to the TV section ?? But now I see it and know how to get there , I think . It was more convieniet to post the message here since, I come here a lot, sorry next time I'll post the message in tv board. But my thinking was it was a Sacramento topic, and I am in Sacramento County and I wanted to get Sacramento feed back so I though i'd post it here ,

ps do a lot of people give feed back on the tv board too ? do a lot of people view that board too ? I don't really visit there, I come here more for radio news . and info.
