Is there, or has there ever been a time in Buffalo or Rochester when a radio station would broadcast live from the window of a department store for the Christmas season like CHFI (FM98) does from the window of the Bay store in downtown Toronto Canada every year? (they're doing that now, as a matter of fact.)

If not, why not?
