Just because they can do it, TMISU should write a check and take KFWhyEye off the hands of the CCU Suits. Nurse Jeff and I can think of quite a few reasons this makes sense: 1) 5~Fifty has the programming 92~Three needs; 2) KT'R will then own NewsTalk in the Valley and not have to share the revenue; 3) Sports Parking Lot 6~Twenty can't handle all the sports and 5~Fifty is the second best AM signal in the market; 4) KFWhyEye call letters go away; 5) KMVP call letters are available; 6) 5~Fifty was KGME before KFWhyEye kicked 'em out; 7) The Fan 10-Sixty becomes the Valley's 35th Spanish language station; 8] TMISU will also own Sports in the market; 9) KOY can move to 9~Ten, while 12~Thirty is gifted to ASU for a large write-off; 10) The Master Bogger can use "Arizona's Number One News and Talk Station" without getting flak from the Nurse and Me! Someone get Mark Mays on the phone.....

This would be a good idea if the suits over at 92.3 & 620 weren't doing a crappy job at running and imaging those stations. There so much potential and talent but not enough brain power to determine what to do... ;D

5) KMVP call letters are available;

The sale of 860 to AIM Broadcasting was approved by the FCC last week, although I don't believe it's closed yet. In any case, the FCC database still shows the KMVP call letters as still being on 860.
