Justice John Paul Stevens Dead at 99

https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/16/politics/john-paul-stevens-dead/index.html

Known for his dissenting decisions on Bush v. Gore and Citizens United v. FEC, while being a majority in landmark cases like Massachusetts v. EPA, Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council and Sony vs. Universal Studios, the Midwestern Republican who leaned liberal on the courts died at 99 today. He served 35 years on the courts, retired in 2010 and was given the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama in 2012. May he RIP.
