Justin Riley named Power 93.3/Kiss 106.1 PD

Here's the link. The aircheck before this one on the site also features him. http://bobsairchecks.x10host.com/2014/05/16/kkrz-september-4-2013/

Bob on your blog site associated with the link you have incorrectly stated several facts. KKRZ was not KGW FM before changing calls. It was actually KQFM which was a solid gold format programmed by Bob Brooks, The KKRZ calls were originally for "The Rose" since Portland was the Rose City. The format after format and call sign change oldies was "adult contemporary' which lasted maybe a year- if that long, and THEN it became Z100. The station at that time was still owned by Golden West Broadcasting not Evergreen media. I know cause I worked there. KGW was AM and sister to the TV station owned by the Bullit family and around that time purchased KKCW K103 which they planned to take country but then ended up as K103. Thank you.

I thought 100.3 was KEX's FM sister station and KINK was KGW's

KKRZ/ KQFM is the 100.3 frequency and yes was KEX's sister station yes, Golden West Broadcasting at the time.

I stand corrected, KINK was KGW;s sister station, it was later on that KKCW become part of that group.

I did correct some of that in a later post, but what I'm still unclear on is when New York and Portland became sisters.

Don't worry. With all the change in 20 years, I'm shocked I still correctly remember which was which.
