Justin Timberlake on HOT97?

Are they tweaking their Format or what?

Is Fort Minor, Frankie J Fergie Next?

Weird Part is R&R Recently ReClassified HOT97 as an Urban and No Longer a CHR/Rhythmic a few weeks ago.

But what Format is Hot97? Now an Urban (Basically been that for years and now R&R officaily calls it such) Or CHR/Rhythmic as it's been labled for the longest till recent?

As a Rule Urban Stations don't play the Crossover type stuff

Pop music is big... Now that theres nothing but Southside Hip Hop, songs like Promisciuous Girl and Timberlakes Sexy Back are big amongst hip hop heads. Its no wonder why Z100 is up in the ratings now... They were the only place to hear BEP, Nelly, Timberlake, etc...

its a CHR/Rhythmic, power 105.1 is more of a urban station

what i don't get is why Hot 97 keeps playing Tupac's 10-year old "Hail Mary." The song was a terrible single back in the day (to live and die in la was the single, and Toss it up holds water better than all of the singles on don kulimnati). Hot 97 is retarted in that they'll play stupid tupac, but ignore snoop and master p's releases from the same era. if they are going to play classic rap, then they should play more than bad tupac.

do u live here and listen to them frequently? Dont judge them by what theyre listed as. Hot 97 is an urban sounding station thru and thru.
