Don't know if his last name is spelled right....has he been in radio long? The Progressive talk site doesn't have a bio on him.

I've never heard of him. Does he do a weekend show? Strange name for someone on-air.

W-I-N-E-R

traffic reporter on progressive talk. He jokes a lot on there.. sometimes funny, sometimes not. The reports are a lot better than on WBZ though in that he covers the north shore... WBZ rarely mentions traffic on Rt. 1 north or south

I just listened this morning. He was doing the weather. Aaron Sawyer did traffic. Maybe they switch off? I only heard one report.

oops.. I did mean Aaron... the thing about Justin's weather forecast is he records it in the morning and they run it all day.. sometimes there are changes and they're not reflected

I often wonder if "the audience retention level" DIMISHES when you hear the same forecast over and over again? When a listener knows what 'the canned weather or traffic guy' is gonna say....with the same information and inflection...doesn't this result in a 'brain tune-out?'

And if listeners are doing this to the "station features"----what does this say when the STATION ADVERTISERS attempt to sell their products?

Just curious????

total agreement

I have to agree.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the accuracy of the
traffic reports on Progressive Talk. They are better than WBZ.
I guess they got the truth on the traffic situation too. ;)
