JVC MOVING TO PATCHOGUE

Officially announced today, JVC Broadcasting will be purchasing a 7,800 square foot site located at 185 Waverly Avenue in Patchogue, NY. The site has been vacant for more than 4 years and JVC will receive projected property tax, sales tax and mortgage recording tax incentives of $228,000. In return for the incentives, JVC has pledged to create 14 jobs by 2016. The building will house offices, studios and a broadcast center for the company.

Newsday once again reports that JVC wants to open a satellite studio at Islip Macarthur Airport. Newsday goes on to report that JVC "plans to launch an all-news and talk station on Long Island."
