Hi, I just got it installed yesterday and have been playing with it today.
First, I live about 45 miles from the candlstick antenna (Roxborough) in Philadelphia and 62 Miles (100 kilometers) from the Empire State Building. I receive both cities analog signals quite well but the HD signals are another story they are Extremely sensitive to terrain and each station has different HD coverage.
Philadelphia: WHYY 90.9 and WMGK 102.9 larger HD coverage the other HD stations in philly note 92.5 and 96.5 aren't currently broadcasting in IBOC at the moment for some reason.
New York: The NYC HD stations seem to operating at a lower power or maybe its just maxed out capacity of the empire state building's attenna masts with less height? Even from a high hill top location 40 miles from ESB with an unobstructed view the radio could not lock to on to any of the station for more than a few seconds except for W0R 710 and WCBS-FM... Z100 and KTU's HD signals could not even be dectected from that location (car was stationary) almost forget about Star 99.1 HD1 and HD2 impressive HD coverage too bad about the format.
