I have noticed that 105.5 JYY now refers to themselves as NH's #1 Hit Music Station. Has anyone else noticed this? Why'd they do it?

Simple Answer.. NO!
I think they arnt bad. they play the new stuff, they play the top 40 hits, so yeah they do, they play what they say they play. I know Im gonna turn it on and hear the new Fergie and plain white tees and all that, and not hear some song from 1978.

Nassau has a mandated formula for most of their stations: "(City/State)'s #1 for (insert format here). When in doubt for a location positioner, cook up something dopey like "The Valley's #1 for Classic Rock" (WHDQ). What valley? Upper Valley? Lower Valley? Precision Valley? Pioneer Valley? Dave Valle?
The longer the positioner, the less the jock has to talk. Everybody wins!
