As of today, they are referring themselves as 104-3 the new k b i g. The music is still the same. It seems like they have just new sweepers and no jocks for now.

well, if the music and the "thump-radio" and boogie nites,
still ~sizzle~ then, soo far, it's all good !!
 
I listened to the station today and they sounded good. Plus they seem to be focusing more on the upbeat Rhythmic Pop and Dance titles from the 80s and 90s.

BTW they got a write-up in All Access Net News today(July 19th):

CLEAR CHANNEL Hot AC KBIG/LOS ANGELES turned up "jockless" yesterday[July 18th] with a slight tweak of the music - a few less currents, a few more gold titles -- highlighted by 30-minute sweeps, new imaging, and an updated moniker "104.3 The New K-B-I-G". Look for the same airstaff to return on MONDAY, JULY 25th.
