K.D. Lang - Constant Craving

This weekend Renda's KMGL/Oklahoma City is having "Meet My 90s Weekends" which they rarely have other than "Flashback Weekends" or "Awesome 80s Weekends". Yesterday, I heard K.D. Lang - Constant Craving and it was a really good song from the 90s. The station doesn't normally play it at all, but they did play it during the "Meet My 90s Weekend" this weekend. I wonder if there's any other AC or Hot AC station that does play this song especially if it's by CC, CBS Radio, Entercom, or Citadel. IMO, I believe the song fits the AC format well and I really like this song. What do you guys think about this song?

I'll be honest, I've rarely heard K.D. Lang on the radio which is surprising because she seems to have been pretty popular. I agree that it would be a nice fit if the AC format wants something different from the 90s

I hear it on Muzak FM1 once in awhile.

It's played on FM1 every so often. I personally enjoy hearing "Summerfling" by K.D. Lang, also heard on FM1. Just a wonderful song, almost James Bond movie theme-like.

The Blend is the AC formatted station on Sirius/XM.
Yes, I thought this might be true. After hearing "Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears I no longer eat in that restaurant. Though this may change if my aunt doesn't mind eating where all the people are--she wanted it to be nice and quiet, but we did NOT achieve this as I could actually hear music.

I heard "Constant Craving" in Fred's earlier tonight (It's a dollar-store chain primarily in the southeast, for those of you not familiar with the store). It's been a while since I heard it on radio myself.

Wow I can't believe someone posted about this song. It actually used to be my FAVORITE song back in the mid 90s, and I still love it. I remember first hearing it on Mix 98.5 (WBMX) in Boston when I first started listening in the Spring of 1994, but then they eventually phased it out and stopped playing it. I remember Vh1 playing it occasionally, and I remember 96.1 WSRS Worcester and Magic 106.7 playing it as well, but it seems like as of 2001 or so, almost NO AC station anywhere plays it anymore. I wonder if maybe it's because nobody has ever heard of her or it anymore. It's really hard to find music of the 90s. Though Easy 99.1 in Plymouth, MA sometimes plays it still.

I actually have come to the conclusion that there is plenty of 90s music for AC. I think with Hot AC stations cutting back on that decade, that there is room for AC's to pick up on artists like Alanis Morissette, Gin Blossoms, New Radicals, U2, Lisa Loeb, Blind Melon, The Cure, Dave Matthews, etc...and of course some acts that the format has already somewhat embraced like Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, Blues Traveler, etc.

Yeah "Meet My 90s Weekend" on KMGL includes all of that good stuffs from the 90s. Except, it's not part of their regular programming. :-\

Btw, KMGL added some really good 90s stuffs like Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" and Alias's "More Than Words Can Say" after their playlist update in May 2011 which really fit the format well, IMO.
