K-HITS 107.5

First of all, it is great to be back on Radio-Info, after a long hiatus.

Secondly, I haven't had time to look back at a lot of topics yet, so if someone has started this topic, I apologize. But is anyone else less than pleased with K-HITS? The music seems very repetitive. I hardly ever hear any Motown or R&B. Most of it seems like late 60's & 70's Classic Rock. ???

I know I've said this before, but when did "Oldies" become taboo? Last time I checked, it was the 30+ plus audience that buys most of the merchandise that advertise on radio and television. Whether I like it or not, 60's and 70's music is "Oldies". K-HITS ratings aren't in the toilet because of their KLDE image. It is the music they play. Look at KONO in San Antonio... good music and good ratings. The same with KLUV in Dallas and WWSW (3WS) in Pittsburgh.

Cox has been in a Houston for quite some time now, and they still do not have a clue in this market.

It's great to be back though. ;D

I have been liking the new station. But that's just a preference thing for each person.

My daughter is the force that drives what I buy. I only wish I could buy what I want. Is that 30+ market mostly those without kids?
