K-HITS Listener music survey

This is the latest K-HITS listener survey. They e-mail a new survey every few weeks. I'd like to think that they pay attention to the results of these surveys and adjust their playlist accordingly A few months ago the surveys included 80s cuts such as Eye Of The Tiger and Uptown Girl. The last several surveys have included only 60s and 70s songs. It may be only the times I tune in to K-HITS on the web but I never hear any 80s tracks anymore. For a while I would occasionally hear Footloose or Don't Stop Believing by Journey. Glad to not hear those now. K-HITS appears to be a station that genuinely cares what their true listeners want to hear, not what some lame brain consultant or research group tells them they want to hear.

The survey consists of 30 songs. They list each title and artist, ask whether or not you are familiar with the song, and ask you to rank it from 1 to 5, 1 meaning you hate it, and 5 meaning you love it. Then they ask you to fill in whether the song is tired or not tired. You also have an MP3 link where you can hear a snippet of the song in case you aren't sure what it is. Notice all songs on this survey are all 60s and 70s.

For all I know this is a generic survey used by numerous stations across the country, but for me, it at least appears K-HITS wants to know what I want to hear on their station.
