Guess KNLE is the only local station left. Just wish 88.1 would start streaming and fix their audio equipment. As far as I know it's owned and managed by one older man who can't do everything.

I feel kinda sorry for the guy, as last time I heard KNLE he didn't sound too happy when asking for support.

So now 105.9 is K-Love, 92.5 and 92.1 are Air 1. What is 92.9 now, 92.9 used to carry Air 1?
I punched into 92.9 yesterday and it was running a loop redirecting Air1 listeners to 92.1 and 92.5.
What they do next will be interesting. K-Love Christmas? Radio Nueva Vida? Or a lease to iHeart?
KVLR 92.5 HD3 is listed as K-Love Christmas on the K-Love website.

Are you able to tell whether or not that's the same programming of 106.5?
emf doesnt have an in house spanish format, they work somewhat directly with a spanish organization in california, radio nueva vida.. but it's actually connected in any way to EMF

LOL if they air Nueva Vida on 92.9, the people leasing 105.9 HD2 for their 106.5 will probably take issue to that.

right thats what i meant.
unless theres some contractual thing say competeing formats can lease sub channels on the same HD transmitter, not much can be done.
IIRC, one or more of the investors in Radio Nueva Vida are former Salem folks, and they established a relationship with EMF many years ago. While one is for-profit and the other is not, they do have similar objectives via their programming. This is what would have been called, several hundred years ago, a "marriage of convenience".
