K-Love Buys The Bay

Where next for K-Love in the DC area? Southern Maryland's best local signal is Somar's 98.3... There had been hints awhile back they might have done an LMA or sale with WRNR. Could Davis want to get out of Frederick and sell 99.9? Forever is dumping stations left and right, could we see 105.3 and/or 106.1 in Cumberland go to EMF? I would say 98.5/107.7 out of York/Gettysburg is pretty ripe for an EMF picking. As are their eastern shore group too. The possibilities for more of a K-Love expansion and domination of the FM band are endless.
Makes me sick when I see K-Love swallow another station.

Another great rock and roll station bites the dust as the K-Love borg moves across America.
If only the music weren't such pabulum. Southern gospel and black gospel music have life and energy to them. You can feel the passion, even if you don't buy into the message in the lyrics. But the lowest-common-denominator musical Wonder Bread that K-Love pushes out of its ever growing collection of transmitters has nothing going for it BUT the message, and even then, the message is couched in such cotton-candy-light, saccharine lyrics that it's impossible for an outsider to listen to it, let alone consider giving them a credit/debit card number.
