K-Love comming to 105.9?

Has anyone heard that EMF is buying WBCI?If so does it mean K-Love is comming to southern Maine?

I haven't heard anything yet. But such an acquistion wouldn't be surprising, with EMF's presence in New England rapidly growing. It would be nice to see the big 105.9 signal go to a music format, and EMF would almost certainly take it to K-Love (as it has a much wider audience than Air 1, which is usually placed on the company's second station in a market).

K-Love on 105.9 would also launch an intense fight with WMSJ 89.3 for those non-comm dollars; WMSJ, of course, is beginning it's own expansion.
