K Love's HD digital signal has been off the air all week long. I wonder what the hold up is on fixing this. I rather enjoy listening to Air 1 on HD2, plus I'm sure the FCC wouldn't be too happy to know that 93.7 W229BL has continued operation despite this, even though the parent signal WHVK HD3 has been off the air all week now.

Only a week? That's actually pretty good for HD downtime. 
I'll give EMF props for actually getting it fixed that quickly. Some other commercial broadcasters *cough, iHeart* will leave HD off for weeks. I'm surprised anyone can pick it up, though. Last I remember it's only running something like 12 watts.

You'd be quite surprised actually. You can get their HD signal pretty much over all of the Huntsville city limits without issue. There are a couple of small dead spots but otherwise its reliable within city limits. I wonder if it is still running 12 watts. I remember when they went HD they were still at 290 watts on the anolog side. I wonder if they upgraded the HD when they upgraded the anolog to 900 watts. I would think probably so since their anolog coverage area increased. I can't seem to find any info on fcc about it though.
You make a good point about ihearts HD signal too. At least K Love's is in perfect sync with the anolog also. You can't even tell when it switches. iheart on the other hand.... like for example WQRV. They are about a half a second off. Switching between the two on there always gives you a glitch sound. Its not seamless by any means.
