K-LOVE is on in Selmer at 90.5

I noticed on Thursday that K-Love's new station in Selmer at 90.5 is on now. This pretty much covers all of West TN now with their station, between it, the Memphis stations at 94.7 and 94.9, and 90.7 in Dyersburg. There's also 94.9 in Ripley, but they have applied to move it to Hayti, MO. Hopefully once it moves they'll change it to Air 1, but I know it may be a while before that happens.

Oh boy, I've been out of radio a week and haven't noticed that...

hmmm... I just quit the "locally" owned Christian station in Selmer, and they were already haveing a tough time. This could really hurt Grace Broadcasting... I wish they sould change it to Air1... I like that music better... and there isn't any more "rockin' Christian"

This has been a couple of weeks, but 93.9 in Selmer has flipped to Southern Gospel. I was told that it was because of losing money with the CCM format, even before K-LOVE came in. It's probably just as well anyway. There wasn't an FM SG station in the Selmer area, and with K-LOVE coming in it wasn't like the CCM audience is being abandoned. I agree that I'd rather see Air 1 come in instead though.
