This is kind of a big deal, because sponsors are a big deal for professional auto racers. Last week at Richmond International Raceway, Michael McDowell made his debut in the No. 66 K-Love car and finished 40th. He's scheduled to drive the same car again tonight in Darlington.
Here's a press release from McDowell's official website regarding the sponsorship with K-Love (pardon the references to May in it; they obviously are meant to be April):

Says McDowell of the sponsorship: "I am pumped to have K-Love back on one of my racecars. I have really enjoyed the relationship over the years and believe in the ministry that K-LOVE provides by bringing a positive encouraging message over the radio waves everyday."
By the way, this isn't the first radio station to sponsor a NASCAR driver: Two years ago, Marc Davis rode in the 96.3 WHUR (Washington, D.C.) car.
