K-Love signs on in Huntsville

As of today K-Love has officially signed on. They are IDing as WHVK but the FCC still shows it as WHWT. I'm sure that'll be updated any time now, as EMF filed for the WHVK calls weeks ago.

wow, those calls take me back. makes me remember some stunting 93.3 did back when it was WHVK, I think before the flip to WPZM "The Possum". unless there was something in there between those two, 93.3 has flipped so many times I can't keep up with it.

I know it. It's cool to see the calls return to the market. You're right about 93.3. Maybe its just a jinxed frequency, although the handling of it has been ridiculous ever since Cumulus took it over. I'm sure we'll see another new format on it before too long with its current abysmal ratings. I think they could finally put a rest to the format flipping on 93.3 if the put something on it that is wanted in the market. Classic country on a good signal is something I hear tons of people say they'd like to have for example. I wonder if they even take the time to research a market before flipping a format, or if they just pull something out of their rear ends & go with it.
