K-Love's home base to finally get metro coverage

Rockin California based EMF the owners of Christian AC K-LOVE have had weak to no coverage in Sacramento area for years. Two construction permits will change that in the near future. Grass Valley's 99.3 will be moving to Citrus Heights at 99.5 to give coverage the Sacramento and the northeast suburbs and a new 89.7 KLRS licensed to Lodi will be bringing KLOVE to the city and the southern suburbs. These two signals will blanket Sacramento for the first time ever with the Christian AC format. Salem's 103.9 has decent coverage but KLOVE will have them beat and may even cause Salem to ditch the Fish.

KLVS Citrus Heights-- will cover most of the metro with 60 db. Far better than KKFS.

Looking at the signal of that stick and the potential of KLRSLodi--In fact KLRS is applying to move to the TV antenna farm with a class B facility that will be almost as strong as KXPR 88.9. There would be tons of overlap.

I would guess that they might put Air1 on one signal and K-Love on the other.

Keep in mind that KLVS Citrus Heights and and KARA Williams (soon to be on Sutter Buttes) are on reserved commercial channels. KLVS alone is worth at least 20 million dollars without revenue. The amount of noncom stations and translators that could be built for that amount would reach way more people than one commercial stick in Sacramento. EMF could in fact get decent coverage in Sacramento with KARA and the existing translators for Air1 and KLRS 89.7 for K-Love. Sacramento would be well covered, EMF would have another 18-25 million in the bank and there would be another commercial stick for Bustos to buy.
