K-Mozart is back on 1260

The emotional reward comes in running a successful station with a big audience and makes money. The comments from listeners are equally satisfying to those who run a station with the music they like. Listener comments are only part of the reward. The art of programming for the masses and reaching them, the reward of a financially successful venture and the listener comments are the full package. The worst is crickets. I've experienced both.

Saul already has one of those in 105.1 and he also is privileged to operate 88.1 for Cal State Long Beach. Don't begrudge him 1260.

Go up to #216 and 217 and re-read what K.M. wrote, and what Paul was responding to. That's the point I was making to David. The predicate is that I have enough money not to have to worry about meeting expenses. It would be a vanity project, kind of like what Saul does with 1260, or Catsimaditis with 77WABC. Once financial realities invade the pipe dream it becomes a whole different calculus.

I'm far too Bizet to take part in this. Saul seems to Ravel in making format changes on 1260.
